About Me
Dr. Cherin is a board-certified physiatrist. She is an Assistant Professor and Director of Consults in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Prior to coming to Penn State Health, she received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her internship year at Delaware County Memorial Hospital, where she was Chief Resident. She completed her residency at Case Western Reserve University/Metro-Health Rehab Institute of Ohio. Dr. Cherin prides herself on taking a holistic approach when treating patients and she specializes in approaching the patient in a systematic way. She has a specific interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound and providing diagnostic and therapeutic injections to alleviate pain. She has been published within her specialty on various musculoskeletal topics. Dr. Cherin is passionate about academic medicine where she works closely with students, residents, and fellows and was recently awarded Teacher of the Year in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for her contributions.
